Legal disclosures for the "Aren" service, operated by Lifetime Software AG (Switzerland), under Swiss and German law.
This Imprint satisfies the disclosure duties under Swiss law (Art. 3 para. 1 lit. s of the Federal Act against Unfair Competition, UWG) and German law (§ 5 of the German Digital Services Act, Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz, DDG, the successor to § 5 TMG). It applies to the "Aren" service operated at https://app.aren.io (base domain aren.io).

Online Dispute Resolution / Consumer Arbitration
The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was permanently discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is therefore no longer referenced here.
Aren is a business-to-business service for companies and professional users. Lifetime Software AG is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board within the meaning of § 36 of the German Act on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters (Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz, VSBG).
Data Protection
The processing of personal data through this website and the Aren service is governed by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO) and the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP / revDSG, in force since 1 September 2023). Details are set out in our separate Privacy Policy.
No data protection officer (Datenschutzbeauftragter) and no EU or Swiss representative have been appointed at this time. Should the appointment of a data protection officer or a representative become required, the relevant details will be added here.
